Now I’m going to tell you about this traffic building secret that sends 
traffic to my site like crazy! 

How would you like as many Web sites you personally select to PERMANENTLY 
display your graphic link with great pride?  What’s more, each one of the 
those Web masters will thank you for the privilege! Best of all it won’t 
ost you ONE CENT and no reciprocal link. 

I have over 200 Web sites displaying a photo of myself, my name and my 
Web address hyperlinked to my Web site PERMANENTLY for the life of each 
one of those Web sites I’ve selected. 

To understand how to achieve this let’s take a lesson in psychology. 

What do many Web masters crave? Many are looking for WANT RECOGNITION. 
They want to be recognized for their Web site  efforts. They want their 
visitors to say Wow, what a great Web site. 

All you need to do is use this human trait of being "noticed" and their 
ant for recognition to your advantage. 
 

     Here’s the secret; 

You simply offer a Web site "award program".  Think about it. If you 
honored 100 Web sites with your award, and each one of those sites 
gets 10,000 visitors per year. That’s 1,000,000 people that will 
potentially see your award graphic. 

Anyone can offer Web awards, there is no qualification required. 
You don’t have to be a Web site judge, expert, or even have an award 
winning site yourself.You judge a site according to the criteria

Anyone who is after an award and does a search for them in any major 
Search Engine will find this mammoth award-listing site. Submit your award 
graphic and award criteria. 

In a few days, Focus will visit your site’s "award application page", and 
will give your award a rating. Your award and a brief description of your 
award criteria then be placed on their site under a particular rating. 
Awards are given a rating between 1 and 5, with a rating 5 being the most 
sought after on the Internet. 

3. Next, construct a page on your Web site where Web masters can visit to 
read your application criteria and rules.  Create a form, they can fill 
in to submit their details. As an example of this, see my award application

4. In about a week, your email inbox will be filled with applicants wanting 
your award. In the 12 months I’ve been offering awards, I get anywhere from 
5 to 15 applications per week. I’ve had approximately 600 Web sites apply in 
that time. (From this, I’ve honored 200 sites with my award). 

5. Diligently, visit each of their Web sites, and appraise it according to your 
award criteria. If you feel they deserve your award, email the Web master, notifying 
him that he has gained your award. Now don’t attach your award graphic to your email.

selling on the Web, people don’t always buy from you on their first visit.

Expect over a 90% response rate. 

Let’s analyze the benefits of this traffic building technique 
especially if you’re selling a product from your site; 

1. You’ve given them something they are very proud of, so 
they are going to like you. People will buy from people they like. 

2. They are going to tell their friends "Look what I’ve won" 
and "Look at what is on offer at the site who awarded it to me". 
Expect these friends to visit your site. These of mouth referrals 
are the best leads you can get.

Yes, it does take a bit of effort and your time to review each award application
